Gone Girl Giveaway – Win tickets to an exclusive preview screening of the movie Gone Girl!

I’m currently engrossed in the book Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn. I picked it up recently after hearing all the hype surrounding the soon-to-be-released movie starring Ben Affleck and directed by David Fincher (one of my favourite directors). It’s a real page turner and I haven’t been so absorbed in a story for a long while!

And the good news is thanks to Audible and 20th Century Fox, I have 10 double passes to give away to the exclusive preview screening of Gone Girl!

So what’s all the fuss about?

GONE GIRL – directed by David Fincher (Seven, Social Network, Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) and based upon the global bestseller by Gillian Flynn – unearths the secrets at the heart of a modern marriage. On the occasion of his fifth wedding anniversary, Nick Dunne (Ben Affleck) reports that his beautiful wife, Amy (Rosamund Pike), has gone missing. Under pressure from the police and a growing media frenzy, Nick’s portrait of a blissful union begins to crumble. Soon his lies, deceit and strange behavior have everyone asking the same dark question: Did Nick Dunne kill his wife?

To enter, you must be able to attend the session on Monday 29th September at 6.30pm, at a centrally located cinema in Sydney OR Melbourne.

Good luck and for those lucky winners going to the Sydney session, I’ll see you there!

I started reading Gone Girl on holidays and was too distracted by delicious cocktails to finish the book! I feel like a high school student who needs to watch the movie to ace her English exam.

This is one of the most gripping, clever relationship thrillers I’ve ever read – and it has a great twist at the end. Can’t wait to see the movie :D

This is going to sound really weird but I don’t want to read the book because I’m dying to see the movie and I don’t want to know what happens!! Haha that’s really bad isn’t it! Looks like such a great story :-)

Read the book twice. Hope they don’t mess with the end!

A touch of art imitating life with this movie. I’m really interested in seeing Ben as the “villain” as he is usually in the good guy role.

I can’t wait to see it! The book was actually awesome. Without spoiling anything in this comment: I found myself loathing characters, only to have my views completely swapped halfway through and hating other characters. The ending was perfect because it didn’t go how I expected it to, but it left me frustrated at the characters ugh i loved it so much though.

I’m really looking forward to this one. The trailer with Elvis Costello’s ‘She’ was one of the most interesting trailers I think I’ve seen.

I need a girls night out! No hubby, no kids, just a good flick, with a bit of chilling suspense. ( and the sensational Ben Afleck)
