Winter is well and truly upon us in the Southern Hemisphere and I am embracing the indoors – a time to catch up on reading, Netflix and little DIY and house projects. Read on, friends!
♥ Food gradients by Wright Kitchen
I love creative food styling (examples here and here) and these gradient arrangements by Wright Kitchen are simply stunning.
♥ How to build a meal in a bowl
To balance all that cake I eat for the blog, I try to eat healthily most of the time to balance it all out. But I am both time poor and lazy, so these simple meal-in-a-bowl ideas are great!
♥ Tokyo now has… crying rooms?!
Oh Japan, the land of maid cafes, love hotels and now… crying rooms. Complete with luxury tissues, a series of tearjerker films and makeup remover to fix that running mascara.
I love donuts almost as much as I love cats (which is a lot) so I was super stoked to see a friend of a friend had launched a new donut business in Sydney. I will take one of everything!
♥ Jessica Hische has written a book
I’ve written about Jessica Hische several times before as a huge fan of her typographic work. I am thrilled to hear she is releasing a book which is a little insight into her process from a quick sketch to the finished product on screen.
Have an amazing long weekend everyone!

And don’t get me started on the donuts!!!
Me too, those carrots are sensational! And I am glad we share the same enthusiasm for donuts ;)
