I’m so pleased to share with you today an interview from the lovely Nadia Felsch, a wellness warrior who loves sharing her inspiration and down-to-earth advice.
Hello! Who are you and what do you do?
Greetings Swah & her wonderful fans!
I’m Nadia a 29 year-old Sydney-sider, devoted and quite literally obsessed with providing information and tools to empower others in living a life of wellness; to be the best that they can!
As an author, health & wellbeing writer, recipe tester and food stylist, I like to think of myself as a trailblazer and big dreamer.
What work are you most proud of to date?
Without a doubt that would be my first interactive eBook in a series named eat well look good feel great. It took twice as long as anticipated and the finished result is a glossy and professional cookbook showing people where to start when it comes to wholefoods and providing them with simple and delicious recipes on that journey. The feedback has been incredible and it’s both a joy and privilege to share the food that I enjoy eating with others, helping them on their own journey to find optimal health and wellbeing.
What was the turning point in your career?
Within the corporate environment of my past, I felt increasingly less connected to my role and any semblance of my self. Life felt hard and each day became more of a struggle. Despite always having prided myself in ultimate professionalism and being able to “deal”, my workdays were increasingly becoming tear-filled emotional rollercoasters.
I recall a pivotal moment standing outside my then office, crying on the phone to a colleague and saying out loud that I simply wanted to live.
To me that meant spending my days with the people that I loved, doing what was in my heart and serving the world. Within a week, I had quit my job.
Who would you love to collaborate with one day?
Ooooh great question! Jamie Oliver hands down.
This talented individual is not only brimming with energy and passion though he combines so well the 3 most vital points to my outlook – delicious food, health and visual design. Who wouldn’t want to collaborate with him and no doubt have an awesome time whilst styling delicious food and both educating and empowering others along their own journey to better health?!
What’s your number one tip for someone wanting to start their own business/blog?
Love it. For you to enjoy it (even when no one reads it or cares), your work needs to be in your heart; the thing that gets you fired up and that you could talk about all day long (again even when no one cares). That’s how eventually by you chipping away doing your thing and sticking to your plan that people will read it, care and love it.
