My Favourite Typography Inspiration on Instagram

I’ve had a lifelong obsession with typography and I’m thrilled to be taking my first calligraphy course with none other than Maybelle Imasa at The School this weekend. I get a lot of lettering inspiration from Instagram, so today I thought I’d share with you my favourites!

Jasmine Dowling

At only 22 years of age, this super talented blogger, creative and letterer is one of my favourite profiles to follow. Gorgeous lettering coupled with fashion and lifestyle shots make her feed a feast for the eyes.

Laura Hooper-Leader

Laura has a more traditional style of typography that is so elegant and refined. I’m so envious of her impeccable calligraphy skills!

Emma Kate

Emma Kate’s IG feed is a perfectly curated mix of lettering, food and nature, plus she’s putting on a series of workshops soon! My fingers are crossed she comes to Sydney.

Dandy Moon

Kristy has such a unique style of typography I always can recognise her work. She has started a collaboration with Miss Poppy Design and I want *everything*

Gemma O’Brien

Gemma has created lettering for a huge range of big brands (including the Oprah magazine!) and gives talks at conferences and workshops around the world. She also is responsible for the hilarious Spew Bag Challenge.

Maybelle Imasa

And last, but certainly not least, is the amazing Maybelle Imasa who is flying from America to teach a series of calligraphy classes (one which I will be attending on the weekend!)
