Want to work from anywhere? Here are the best co-working spaces around the globe!

Fancy sending out invoices from a beachside location or writing your latest article whilst surrounded by indoor plants and new friends? As workplaces become more flexible and the solopreneur is on the rise, co-working spaces are rapidly popping up around the globe.

These days co-working offices are more than just renting desk space – they also provide opportunities to network and brainstorm with fellow creatives, offer free food and coffee and other services to make your work day easier such as free Wifi, printing and meeting rooms.

As the freelance population grows, remote working is becoming more commonplace, making it easy as pie to combine your work and holiday! A lot of places offer day rates if you’re just breezing through town, but if the idea of temporarily relocating to Bali sounds appealing, there are weekly and monthly rates on offer too.

If the idea of working abroad seems appealing, I’ve rounded up the 10 best co-working spaces around the world!

Hubud – Ubud, Bali

Nestled in the jungle of Ubud is Hubud, Bali’s first co-working space. This heavenly space made from bamboo is filled with creatives working away whilst enjoying fresh heathy meals (there’s an onsite ‘living food lab’). And when you want to take a break there’s yoga classes, surfing and scenic walks through rice paddies in the local area!

RoySpace – Melbourne, Australia

Indoor plant lovers rejoice! RoySpace, located in trendy Fitzroy, is a bright and airy space filled with lush greenery alongside art. RoySpace is limited to 15 desks which means it will never get too busy or loud, and comes with 24 hour access, free internet and table tennis if you feel so inclined.

Ministry of New – Mumbai, India

A crumbling old building in Mumbai’s Fort district has been transformed into an innovative working and event space for entrepreneurs, designers and architects. They offer free Wifi, a conference room is available for meetings and there is an option to work from the communal table too.

CocoVivo – Isla de San Cristobal, Panama

Ever wanted to work from a tropical island? CocoVivo, located in Panama, offers co-working retreats with onsite accommodation on a remote island in the rainforest. Despite being in the middle of nowhere, there is a reliable internet connection which means you can answer your emails before relaxing in a seaside hammock or doing a spot of yoga.

BoxJelly – Honolulu, Hawaii

The Box Jelly is Hawaii’s first co-working space. In addition to numerous desks available for rent, they offer soundproof phone booths to make calls, conferences rooms and an event space. And since it’s located only 5 minutes from Waikiki beach, afterwork swims can become a regular thing!

The Farm – Soho, New York

The Farm is a huge co-working space located in the heart of Soho, New York. In addition to over 120 desks for rent, they have 5 conference rooms + 2 communal lounges available for use too. Office space is available to rent by the hour, day, or month, depending on how long you want to commit.

Soho Works – London, UK

Located in the iconic East London Tea Building in Shoreditch, Soho Works is more than just a communal work space. They also offer bookable meeting rooms, a workshop space, library access, an all-day café and bar, a photo studio AND a roof terrace!

WeWork – Tel Aviv, Israel

Tel Aviv has an emerging start up scene which has seen a huge increase in co-working spaces opening up around the city. We Work has numerous spaces around the world and has opened 4 in Tel Aviv alone. They offer an endless supply of free coffee, collaborative spaces are available to book and their dedicated onsite staff are around throughout the workweek.

The Work Project – Causeway Bay, Hong Kong

In addition to a breathtaking space filled with plants and high ceilings, The Work Project in Hong Kong is centrally located in Causeway Bay and offers workers high-speed internet and complimentary beverages and snacks. They have 262 private workstations, 60 hot desks and 98 collaboration spaces on offer to ensure you’ll never miss out.

No. 18 – Stockholm, Sweden

This gorgeously designed space located in central Stockholm is targeted at local Swedish businesses and travelling entrepreneurs alike. In addition to private working spaces and conference rooms, No. 18 also offers nice touches such as free coffee and daily newspapers, 24 hour access and a dedicated reception service.

Are you ready to pack your suitcase and laptop to work from one of these amazing spaces? Happy travels!
