Banana and Nutella Swirl Muffins
Have old bananas and don't want to make banana bread for the millionth time? Try these muffins, with the added bonus of Nutella!
- 1 1/2 cups plain flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 3 large bananas mashed
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 80 g butter melted
- 1/2 cup Nutella
Preheat oven to 170°C. Line 12 muffin tins with cupcake papers.
Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and cinnamon; set aside.
In a large bowl, combine the bananas, brown sugar, egg, and melted butter.
Stir in the flour mixture, and mix until smooth. Scoop into muffin pans.
Add a generous dab of Nutella to the top of each muffin and swirl the top using a toothpick.
Bake the muffins for 20 to 25 minutes until lightly golden
